Powered roller conveyors for boxes and packages are fitted with a tangential belt drive and are therefore especially suited for conveying heavy or cumbersome goods.
Via the friction of the belt on the rollers, it is possible to adjust the traction force without causing damage due to rubbing between roller and box.
